Arctic Horizon | Faroe Islands in Winter
Irgendwann kamen Martin und ich auf die Idee eine Fotoreise auf die Färöer Inseln im Winter anzubieten.
Man sollte wissen…die Färöer sind berüchtigt für das schlechte, nasskalter Wetter - ohne dabei einen wirklich strengen Winter zu haben. Wenn es im Winter in Norwegen schneit, dann regnet es vermutlich auf den Färöern.
Aber…wie immer hatten wir Glück. Wenig Regen, einiges an Schnee und einen waschechten Sturm.
So stark, dass wir uns an diesem Tag kaum auf den Beinen halten konnten.
Die Stimmung in der Gruppe war fantastisch!
Und als Dank für unseren Mut servierte uns die fantastische Natur der Inseln eindrucksvolle Stimmungen und reichlich Motive.
Was will man mehr?
Ach ja…die nächste Fotoreise auf die Färöer findet Ende Februar statt!
At some point Martin and I came up with the idea of offering a photo trip to the Faroe Islands in winter.
You should know...the Faroe Islands are notorious for bad, wet and cold weather - without having a really harsh winter. If it snows in Norway in winter, it probably rains in the Faroe Islands.
But...as usual, we were lucky. Little rain, some snow and a real storm.
So strong that we could hardly keep on our feet that day.
The mood in the group was fantastic!
And in return for our courage, the fantastic nature of the islands served us impressive moods and plenty of motifs.
What more could you want?
Btw. our next workshop on the Faroe Islands will be in February 2023!
